DineForLanka Fundraising Campaign
On Easter Sunday, a series of 8 suicide bombings targeted churches and luxury hotels in Sri Lanka’s capital of Colombo, as well as two other cities in the country’s north, Negombo and east, Batticaloa. The death toll stands at 250+ innocent lives and in excess of 500 people were injured in these senseless attacks.
DineForLanka is a global charity dining series hosted by some of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants in October, in support of the Sri Lankan victims and families who were impacted by the terrorist attacks. We will be raising much needed funds via the DineForLanka charity dinner series, silent auction, raffle and cookbook sales.
DineForLanka fundraising proceeds will be directed to the charity, Kind Hearted Lankans, in support of their efforts to provide on the ground medical relief and longer-term sustainable support to the impacted victims and families.
